What
is multimedia?
Multimedia is.... the combination of a lot
of different media, meaning all sorts of information
such as graphics, cartoons, photography, animations,
music, sound effects and voice.
These elements
combined together in a pleasant way, telling a story
or showing how a new product works, and shown on a computer
screen is what we call multimedia. Sometimes this is
also referred to as 'New Media'.
Most business people are familiar with Microsoft PowerPoint
software to produce their own presentations. Multimedia,
the data that appears on CD Roms and CD Cards, is an
enhanced version of these familiar programmes. The software
we all install and the PC games that come on CD, are
another form of multimedia.

in a well-planned way multimedia adds value to your
business.
A
portable computer is an ideal mobile show for sales
people. Add to the computer a projector or a large television
monitor and the user can present to a larger audience.
Connect the computer to a touch screen and you have
an interactive kiosk, a little like ATM machines.
Projects can be put onto CD or CD Card for wider distribution
anywhere in the world. they can be slipped into a magazine,
product catalogue or just packaged well and sent through
